Hello everyone, We here at Anime NebrasKon have finally received word from the hotels management in regards to the use of Electronic Cigarettes and Vaporizers. It is the hotels policy to prohibit the use of such devices on the property by individuals. The reason why the hotels management has restricted the use of these devices is that the appearance and amount of vapor produced by certain models is so similar to conventional cigarettes/cigars that there could be confusion by the public about whether or not the property is in compliance with the Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act of 2008. I would also like to address the post made by RJ stating that the hotel was okay with the use of e-cigarette/vaporizer on the property. Since this policy is brand new, there has not been enough time to fully train the hotels staff in regards to this policy. This has caused a bit of confusion and miscommunication, since the hotel employee on the other end of the phone was not aware of this policy at the time. We here at Anime Nebraskon would like to apologize to anyone who may have been inconvenienced by this revised hotel policy. We will be working very closely with the hotels management to find an amicable solution to e-cigarette/vaporizer usage during the convention.
