Hello, everyone! Well, Im at least able to get back to the computer again, although it may take another day before my vision is good enough for drawing again. My cataract surgery went quite well, despite a small glitch caused by a combination of a shoulder spasm (brought about by having to lie down in the waiting area for too long) and the after effects of my surgery to remoive the damage caused by my diabetes-induced hemorrhaging of that eye earlier this year. While my distant vision has noticeably improved, Im still having trouble with my left pupil, which doesnt react to light as it should and thus makes things just slightly dark. I will be having my eyes dilated on Friday and Tuesday, so that should help get my pupils back in shape. Keeping fingers crossed. I wish to thank everyone who sent their support, prayers, good wishes and positive energy through Facebook messages, e-mails, phone calls and texts. Your collective kindness and concern flatters me and humbles me. An extra special thank you must go to my beautiful wife and life partner Carol Phoenicia) who has been the most giving, supportive and faithful nurse any patient could ever ask for.
