Hello everyone, back from my holidays and back into it! Kerry, Kathy, Pauline and I are holding a monster Garage sale on May 17 to raise money for childrens education in Timor Leste. I will provide specific details in coming posts. When I was in Singapore I was talking with a family and they stressed how Singaporians believe strongly that educating children is not only important for careers, money etc but also fundamental in creating a caring, vibrant and inclusive society. This is one reason why the work the Salesians are undertaking all over the world but specifically in our case Timor Leste, is so vital. Any help we can provide is surely essential and valuable.
