Hello everyone, my fiancé and I just bought a puppy last Wednesday. By Thursday night he was having breathing issues. We took him to the emergency vet and they did X-rays and diagnosed him with mega esophagus. They told us to have him put to sleep right then. We were devastated and came home and read everything we could online. Its been a week now, we took him for a second opinion on Monday. That vet also recommended putting him down until he listened to the adaptations we have made for jagger. So far he has been eating, playing, and going to the bathroom as he should. He did wake up throwing up mucus today for the first time since his diagnosis last Thursday/Friday. We are hopeful that he wont get AP and he will continue to get better. My question is to those of you who are feeding canned food- what is a high quality canned food you are using that works?
