Hello everyone, this morning on my walk I noticed a needle between 2 telephone phones by my house, I flagged down a police cruiser going by me and told officer and she said there is a policy at town hall and they do not pick them up only if they had a criminal they are arresting would they take the needle. So I insisted to officer that cannot leave on ground, so she gets out of cruiser puts a glove on and takes it and said she would dispose at Toby hospital. Ok so does anyone know of this policy, I think police cruisers should have a sharps container, we cannot leave these on streets, there is young children and I would never want to see a child pick this up.
