Hello everyone, we all hope youve been getting your well deserved 12 hours of sleep every day during the weekend :) We are having another meeting this Thursday, itll be a little earlier this time: from 3:00-3:40 PM in the same lecture hall (guidance side). This meeting will cover our point system and we will all prep for an awesome event coming up this Saturday! Mark your calenders for Fall Festival! Our activity for Fall Fest will be a MHS HFH Gingerbread village theme! A whole table will be dedicated to people who stop by to build a mini gingerbread house. There will also be a leaf and paperweight decorating station. We will also be selling the cookies you provide and having a donation box and pamphlets to hand out. Its going to be super fun and you get to help start building the village! Fall festival volunteering will start at 10:30 AM for Habitat and will end at 2:30 PM in one hour shifts. This includes set up and clean up (weve planned our activity so clean up will literally be the easiest thing youll do in the world). We also have a donations sign-up. See the document below for details and signing up. Donations can be dropped off in the MHS HFH Drop Off box in the Main Office. Dont forget to label them with your name and grade! Event like this, anyone can participate, even if you did not hand in your pledge forms. We will really appreciate it if we received all the donations we asked for to support Habitat for Humanity and the people this organization helps. But keep in mind, we cannot give you credit after the event if you do not hand in your pledge forms! Remember the pledge forms will also provide you with a club shirt. Please hand in your pledge form with money attached in the MHS HFH Pledge Forms bin in the Main Office. They are due by Oct. 23.
