Hello everyone... yes.. it has been a bit since an update from me.. a number of reasons for it. One.. my laptop sucks and I hate using it these days... so... I have to share with Philip who loves his very much and I hate facebook mobile. Second.. I have not felt great lately. I have never sugar coated what is going on with me. In 2011.. I was diagnosed with Stage 4B Cervical Cancer. According to all my doctors... to date... I have done remarkably well. Around Thanksgiving, I began to have problems created by all the radiation that I received early on. The problems have steadily progressed and they are making life a bit difficult for me currently. It is a struggle right now. I am missing work right now. To explore options and to make sure that all bases are covered.. numerous doctors have referred me to UAB & Dr. Alvarez to see what all is next. The great news is that to date... I am only dealing with a small confined area of cancer and the side effects problem. There is a possibility of surgery for me or more chemotherapy coming up or both. I am not sure what will happen just yet as I get more CT scans on Monday to see what is currently up. After that... decision time if the scans return with positive outcome. So.. At this time what I need is simply your continued prayers & encouragement. I am so thankful for such a wonderful team at my studio... Imagine Studio for Hair & Art. They are doing a beautiful job of keeping my dream alive. So proud of them all and so thankful that they love being a part of Imagine. This takes much stress off of me. The studio is vibrant & growing despite my personal set-backs and I just feel so very very blessed to have such awesome friends/clients who support our hair artistry. Anywho... :) Just felt it was time to share a bit again... it has been a while. Peace & Love to all. Thank you!
