Hello, facebook community. Something important to post....... Weve become aware of a discussion on social media about our store owner providing inaccurate advice to a customer on whether a biscuit was conventional or gluten-free. The biscuit being discussed was correctly labeled listing gluten as an ingredient, but are dismayed that a customer came away believing a product containing gluten was, in fact, conventional. We would never ever want to intentionally or not mislead anyone about the ingredients in our products. We are acutely aware of the need for Coeliac and gluten intolerance suffers to not consume gluten. Through extensive training by our store owner we adhere strictly to packaging and labeling legislation because newly diagnosed as well as existing Coeliacs rely totally on the ingredients listed on products to feed their bodies food that will not cause them ill health. We work very hard to provide a wonderful range of gluten and dairy free products to allow people to safely enjoy their sweet indulgence. Just thought it would be good to put the discussion out there.
