Hello family.A couple of hours ago I received a call from my uncle the husband of my dads oldest sister,who told me that she was in hospice care.I already knew she had been dealing with a reoccurring bout of cancer for quite a few months.I am so thankful that I had reconnected with her when I returned home 2 years ago,and before I left in August,spent a night with her at her request.I am asking your prayers,but she is a woman of faith and just celebrated her 80th birthday.I also just enjoy my first persimmon,thank you Pearl Lee for helping me to stretch in many ways,and to Sister LaJune Davis,for preparing the beets I bought at the farmers market,delicious.In everything Gods word tells us to give thanks,and I have much to be thankful for.Be blessed today and always.
