Hello family and friends! After talking about our adoption and someone recently asking us why we are adopting we realized not all of you know the reasons why. So let us explain. To start with we have no reason to believe we cant have biological child and do plan to have bio kids later on down the road. So when Brian and I first started dating we talked about adoption and that was something we both wanted to explore. It was after a year of marriage I started talking to Brian about what he thought of starting our family off through adoption. We had always talked about having a bio child first so when I brought up adoption first it was a bit of a surprise. Brian was not totally sure about adoption first and thought it would be difficult. I continued to pray asking God to change my heart or change Brians heart and after about a year of prayer and research Brian came home one day sooo excited to tell me that he felt like God was calling our family to adoption. So we slowly started the journey this summer. Are hearts have been heavy with the thought of so many orphans and unwanted children in this world. We know that this is going to be a long and hard journey but are laying it all down at the cross and asking The Lord to provide. I know some people that think we are CRAZY for doing this. Financially alone its going to be really really hard but it doesnt change that we feel our child is out there waiting for us to take this leap of faith and we will do whatever it takes to bring OUR child home. We appreciate all of the support we have received and if you have any questions we are totally open to talking about this process!
