Hello family and friends, Today was a long day but a good day for me. After Howie and Calvin carried me down the front porch steps we loaded up and got me to UCI for my first appointment with the plastic surgery doctors. After a thorough examination I was told that things are progressing better than expected and I have to go back into weeks for a follow up appointment. I also told them how excited I was that I was able to move my ankle and foot right and left for the first time. They all smiled and said that was great and gave me a few pointers on how to relieve some of the swelling and general care. It was fun to finally get outside and go for a car ride although by the end of the day I was very tired out and in a little bit of pain but that was to be expected. All in all things are going pretty well for me, I continue to get a little stronger every day and feeling overall better as far as the physical pain & stiffness. Thank you Howie and Calvin for helping me get down the stairs, that is probably my toughest obstacle for me, and thank you all for your prayers, support, and care. Good night, Howie
