Please support student travel and vote here today, everyday until November 30th: woobox/vvyhu6 Local Regina Teacher Nominated For Teachers Matter Award through EF Tours Every year, EF Educational Tours awards one teacher with the Teachers Matter Award which recognizes inspirational and passionate educators. Students are asked to nominate a teacher who has made a substantial difference in their life. Krista Gates, a High School teacher in Regina Saskatchewan Canada, is honored to be one of ten finalists for the 2014 version. If Gates wins, along with the reward she will receive a trip to EFs annual Global Student Leader Summit in Barcelona, Spain, and most importantly, the winning teacher will receive $5,000 cash to be used to help their school (2nd to 5th place will each receive $1,000). Gates understands the financial commitments of student travel, and said she would use the $5,000 to aid the students from her school that have already registered for future student trips with EF Tours. It is now up to the general public to decide who will receive the 2014 Teachers Matter Award.
