Hello fellow prairie owners. So I wanted to share some news about Abraham. He had what we thought was suppose to be his final surgery on Friday. Unfortunately his tooth grew so quickly that he ended up needing a very invasive surgery. His doctor had to go through the area above his nose in between his eyes. He now has several stiches and a stent on his little face. However the surgery went well and he has made is through the first 48 hours with flying colors. The first 24-48 hours tend to be the worse. He should be able to get his stitches removed this coming Friday and hopefully the stent soon after that. We have a long road ahead of us and a few more minor surgeries but he is a fighter and a strong little prairie dog. Please keep us in your thoughts and send good vibes our way. He is the most precious being I have ever come in contact with and I couldnt imagine losing him. I know he will be fine though. To end on a good note he has been eating and fairly active. Everything seems to be healing well and his memory so far has been very apparent. I will try to keep everyone posted on his progress.
