Hello fellow shooting enthusiasts! We would like to invite you to come out to the WSA Range in Kaysville to attend our Nik Parker Benefit Shoot on Saturday June 15th. As most of you already know, our good freind Nik Parker of WDSA has had a serious injury to his leg and ankle, and we are donating the proceeds of this event to him and his family to help them through this time. We will be conducting three shooting events on Saturday, and there is one entrance fee of $ 25 per shooters to shoot in all three. The events are as follows: IDPA We will conduct our IDPA shoot as ususal, with the exception that we will have 4 courses of fire instead of 6. We will have sign ups and Equipment Check starting at 8:15am at bay 4. The Mandatory Safety Review / New Shooter Orientation will begin at 8:40 am, and the match will begin at 9:00. You MUST attend the Safety Review if you want to shoot IDPA! Bowling Pin Shoot The Bowling Pin Shoot will be conducted on bay 8. We will begin this shoot at 9am , and we will run as many shooters as we can in the time allowed. We will run 5 Strings per group. The timer will start for each shooter as they fire their first round, 8 rounds maximum per string, any shot over 8 will incur a 5 second penalty per shot. The timer stops when the shooter fires their last shot, or the last pin clears the plain of the table, whichever comes first. You can shoot this event as many times as we can run peoplet through, as time permits, but we want to make sure that everyone who wants to shoot this has a chance to do so. Steel Plate Shoot The Steel Plate Shoot will be held at Bay 4. We will run 3 steel racks and three shooters per string. There are 6 plates per rack, at 35 feet, on the start signal, the clocks will start and end after you fire your last round, or your last plate falls. You are once again limited to 8 rounds maximum, any shot over 8 will incur a 5 second penalty. We will also have food for sale, and we will be having an auction for some nice items that have been generously donated by many. We are hoping to have Trophy Plaques for each event for 1st , 2nd, and 3rd place, signifying this event. Please come out and support this event, we hope to raise enough money to help the Parker family through this time.
