Alex will talk about his work and career path in relation to his TS and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) symptoms. There will be a focus on the creative pursuits in his employment both as an English professor and co-creator of comics. The presentation will include both Alexs personal challenges and successes. In addition to a visual account featuring a range of comics, both historical and contemporary, there will be a Q & A time. Artist and educator Dick Averns, who is also an ACAD instructor as well as a member of the TS and OCD community, will moderate the evening.
