Hello friends! Congratulations on kicking off another semester! I was hoping that some of you would be willing to share any experiences/tips on a geographically locked job search. Im currently in the unusual position of searching for jobs in the Denver area, without any professional contacts in that region. My wife accepted a job and moved at the end of December, and I need to keep my job in Pittsburgh until I find another in Denver. Im also unsure of whether it would be in poor taste to disclose these personal details in the application process. To give you some background on myself, I have two years of professional experience in residence life and student conduct, on top of res life experience in grad school and undergrad. Im also a lawyer by training, and a licensed Colorado attorney. Any insight would be appreciated.
