Hello friends! David came home last night. I did not update last night because I was a bit busy spending time with my love. Before we left the hospital, the nurse let me change David’s wound bandage. She sent us home with supplies. David had a good night’s sleep because no one came in at 4am to take blood, or at 2am to take his bp, etc. He was also able to finally sleep on his side. What a relief for him! Home health came today and covered wound care with me again. They will come twice a week to check on David. Otherwise, I will be the primary caregiver. David follows up with Dr. Yopp on Monday and with Dr. Beg on Tuesday. I need to make an appointment with Dr. George, our primary doctor, as well so he can be brought up to date with David’s progress. I will continue to update you guys. Fortunately, the updates now will be pretty mundane. Thank you all for your prayers and your support.
