Hello friends I am doing boxing, running, bodyweight fitness - TopicsExpress

Hello friends I am doing boxing, running, bodyweight fitness and yoga. Then there came half a marathon in april 2014 which I trained for for 2 months. (I was more used to doing interval training 2 times a week and one time a week a 10km run). I progressively trained longer distances and then I ran half the marathon in 1h 27 min. Two weeks after that I had a 25km run with 3 steep hills. Everything then was still fine, although sometimes during my preparation running my left hip hurt a little, but then the ‘pain’ went away. Then just before I went on a trip to Croatia in may I overdid it. I ran for 2 hours with stairs and hill training in between and my left knee on the right low side hurted a little (no swelling though). Ever since then it just feels like my left knee just doesn’t feel intact. I can walk and have no general problems, but I just can’t exercise fully. I didn’t do any running for 3 months and no yoga (because I thought it was bad for my knee). I just did cycling, swimming and some bodyweight training. … but the feeling is still the same. I started running and doing yoga from september again (combined with bodyweight training and swimming sometimes) After I go running I feel more ‘pain’, also when I press the skin, it’s way more sensitive on that place … it’s driving my mad because I am giving it so much patience and time, but I just can’t be 100% in the moment, because something just doesn’t feel right. The pain doesn’t also seem to be getting worse though … I went to a physical therapist and a movement coach in august and they said it was because of my stiff left hip, so I ve been doing hip excercises that open it up every morning, but the situation doesn’t really seem to be improving. I did an NMRI-scan … but they saw nothing abnormal on the scan. … What is going on with my left knee, where is the problem and what should I do about it? For your info: I also have pronation on both of my feet, but I never had any problems with my knee before. Any ideas what I can do (books, therapy, excercises?)
