Hello friends. I hope you had a nice week. Filming for the Power - TopicsExpress

Hello friends. I hope you had a nice week. Filming for the Power With an Impact class has been postponed due to the fact, that I will be moving to Knoxville ,TN., in a few short weeks. Filming will begin later this year. I want to encourage you to keep strong in your Faith this week. With all the that we hear in the news, and all that you see going on around you, it is easy to be dismayed and lose heart. I just want to tell you, that when you focus on the problems in life, you begin to shrink, both spiritually, and in your Faith. However, when you focus on Christ, your problems shrink. When Peter walked out on the water to meet the Lord, as long as he focused on Jesus, he was able to do what doesnt seem possible. When Peter turned his attention to the waves and the storm, he began to sink. The Lord was there to pull him up though. He saw Peters lack of faith and he confronted it. Yet he met him where he was at in his walk of Faith (both spiritually and physically). In his great compassion, he extended his hand, and pulled Peter out from where he was sinking. That is what the Lord always does for us. He wants us to grow in Faith. He encourages us to keep focused on him, and to stay in faith, when the things around us, tell us to give up and lose heart. Yet if we fall, because His love is so great, He always pulls us up. The verse I feel led to tell you to read, and even memorize this week, will help you when you begin to feel overwhelmed. It will remind you to focus on the Lord, instead of the problems that may surround you. Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt (will) keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. The Word of God is powerful. It is sharper than a two edged sword. So, we need to retain it in our memory for when our mind comes under attack, from the constant assaults on our faith through the media ,and the world around us. I encourage you to read this verse over, and over, till you memorize it. It will be very useful to you, when the Spirit of God brings it to your mind in the midst of the swarming negativity around you. When the Spirit brings it to your mind, act on it, and focus on the Lord. Then watch the blurry problem shrink, as your focus remains on the Lord. Have a nice week ahead as you continue to walk in Faith towards the Lord (much like Peter). I will continue to pray for you. May God Bless you, and keep you at peace.
