Hello friends. I wanted to ask you to please keep our Iraqi friends in your positive thoughts and consciousness. As you may know, ISIS militants have been causing death and destruction throughout the region for quite some time, and this week it has spread to Iraqs northern semi-autonomous province, Kurdistan, thought to be one of Iraqs safest regions. As I just finished my second summer working with IYLEP Undergraduate program at UMass, my love goes out to all of my friends and their families there.
