September 14 Look for the Good Imagine a black dot on a white board. Are you focused on the dot or on the white board itself? This is the most fundamental of all spiritual principles. Looking for the good and praising it means, over and over again, turning your mind from judgment, gossip, arrogance, or fear. Every time you are confronted with a challenge, look for some good in it. Declare some good that will come out of it. Even in your ordinary conversation, focus on telling the stories that highlight what is working and how great life is. Find ways to praise and compliment those around you. In any situation, in every situation, there is good to be found and declared, even if its only relative to something that could be worse. You dont have to know what that good is or will be. You just have to know that it is always there, just like the sun is shining, no matter how dark the clouds or severe the storm. Reflection: What good can you find in the challenging situation you are now, or have recently been, facing? What good can you praise in the people around you? Affirmation: Everywhere I look, I see the Good and I praise it!
