Hello friends, So many of you have been sending us warm and encouraging messages and generous and thoughtful gifts, including many gloriously delicious meals! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We cant tell you how much your support has meant to us; proof with and in (apparently) the pudding that we are not alone. Thank you! Just a quick update. Due to a multitude of uncontrollable diaper breaches and Ellies penchant for pulling out her g-tube while her feeding is administered, the cast has probably passed the point of usability. Hence, Ellie will going back to the hospital for a little bit today to get a new cast or possibly some very hefty splints. You could pray for Alanas back, as moving Ellie both into and out of the van (particularly if splints are chosen) is going to be an enormous challenge. She may have a little help from her brother, Jim, which will be huge, because I have to be at work all day. We had hoped that the cast could have lasted the duration (shell need one for another 3 weeks, roughly), but we always knew this was a possibility. Again, we so appreciate all of you for standing by us and our daughter while this journey has continued. Thank you!
