Hello friends. Tammy Ellington Simmons and I have been wanting to do this for awhile now. When something is laid on your heart and you feel nudges, you tend to want to listen to those nudges. Linda Pankau Scribners family and I have known each other for a long time as acquantances, but really no more than that. After Peteys death Tammy reached out to me about bracelets. In not wanting to step on any toes of the family, or cause anymore pain to them, we have softly walked and reached out to them about the idea. Anyone that knew Jordan knows what demon took his life. We dont want to focus on that, but we do want him to stand for something. His family does as well. I feel like God has put this in mine and Tammys hands because we are not so close that the pain is all consuming. However, as parents we realize that his family has to be crushed in spirit. We have seen this community and surrounding communities give. What has blown up with Team Kika is nothing short of AMAZING.
