Hello friends, Tomorrow, Open flute studio class at Longy (room N1) Monday, October 7th from 8 to 10 pm. At 7:30 pm Daniel Sharp and Lindsey McChord (Longy Alumna) from Powell Flutes will be showing flutes and head-joints for about half an hour. Open to the Public - flutists are all invited. Longy School of Music of Bard College 33 Garden Street, Cambridge, MA During the first hour we will work as a group on: Breathing, Tone, Vibrato and Support and the subtle connection that exists between these important aspects of flute playing. For the second hour we will proceed to the master class portion of the class. For my students, Please bring solo, chamber pieces and orchestral excerpts that you would like to play.
