Hello friends. Welcome to another edition of CAN WE TALK ? BE STILL. GOD IS IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL. We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, , perseverance, character and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us for God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit whom He has giving us. ROMANS 5:3-5. But one thing I do. Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the price for which GOD has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS 3:13-14. Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. JAMES 1:12. I wish I can bring you some good news this morning but judging from the texts and messages I get for prayers daily, I hope in the midst of all our difficulties, we remain steadfast knowing that GOD is in the midst of it all. The people of Northern Nigeria and Northern Cameroon are facing the torments of Boko Haram. The people of Iraq and Syria are facing the torments of ISIS. Ebola is killing many people in West Africa. Many of us are tormented with personal, family and career problems. I saw an anchor on TV reveal the other day that the doctors have said he has 4 to 6 months to live because the cancer has returned and the tumor is too big for any type of surgery to be done. We shout where are you Jesus? He is in the midst of it all. I ask you to day to endure and persevere because many times GOD will allow us to go through something so we can get His attention. Also remember that these are all storms and the good news is that we have had them before and who was in the midst of it all to bring us out? His name is Jesus.
