See below for requirements: Responsibilities and Skills • Inspire team with strong drawing and painting skills. Be able to quickly explore visually cool themes and develop appropriate shape language. • Ability to explore a range of styles from Cartoony to Near Realism. • Able to storyboard cinematic scenes. • Passion and Drive to fully explore ideas in concept art. • Experience with Photoshop and/or Painter. • Ability to explore strong thematic Color and Lighting themes. • Proficiency in Character and Environment concept art. Texture Artist WhiteMoon Dreams – Los Angeles, CA WhiteMoon Dreams is currently seeking the skills of a highly skilled texture artist to come work on our next exciting project. See below for requirements: Responsibilities and Skills • Create textures for real-time use, including Diffuse, Normal, Height, AO, Specular, and more. • Ability to maintain visual consistency with the vision of the project. • Collaborate with various team members including the Art Director, Environment Artists, Tech Artists, UI Artists etc. to maintain visual quality and to enhance the overall style. • Strong understanding of, and ability with, UV mapping textures to polygonal surfaces. • Strong traditional drawing/painting skills. • Proficiency in texturing surface details and effects on a wide variety of subject matter. • Ability to paint highly detailed 3D and 2D images • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and game engines. See below for requirements: Responsibilities and Skills • Thorough understanding of developing VFX for a real-time environment. • Analysis and ability to work within real-time engine and hardware limitations. • Ability to utilize a 3D package (Maya, 3DS Max, etc.) for VFX. • Comprehension of how to create atmosphere and breathe life into actors and vehicles. • Intermediate experience with VFX in Cascade, preferably Unreal Engine 4. Unreal Engine 3 acceptable.
