Hello friends and Sierra Knights Families. I dont do this often - TopicsExpress

Hello friends and Sierra Knights Families. I dont do this often but there is a special need for a couple of Cheyenne Pups to help the children in the letter below. We were asked to help. I so wish we could do more. Our family, Rick and I, Sierra Knights together donated 2 pup and 3/4 s of the cost of another during 2014. Sierra Knights may be able to help in late 2015 again. I would love to have Sierra Knights dog and puppy parents donate in honor of their dogs and puppies. Any amount even a few dollars will help. Noelles dogs for hope will provide donation letters for each donation. Checks can be made to Noelles Dogs Four Hope and mailed to Sierra Knights, or we can accept pay pals.(call, message or email for info on how to do that) We will be handling this donation/fundraiser for Noelles Dogs Four Hope. Below is the letter we received: Dear Vicci, Noelle’s Dogs Four Hope has been helping families each year obtain service animals that can help save a child’s life. This year we would like to be able to help two deserving families get a service dog that they desperately need. We are asking for two dogs to be donated to Noelle’s Dogs Four Hope. We know this time of the year is challenging for everyone but particularly families of special needs children, because their money goes to pay for Life Saving Medical expenses. Please find it in your heart to help a family in crisis. The first family that would benefit from a donated dog would be343221 child A. Child A suffers from intractable epilepsy. What makes matters worse is that the child has a High Risk of SUDEP. SUDEP is sudden unexplained death in epilepsy. This usually occurs in the child’s sleep and having a service animal that can alert prior to the onset of a seizure could be the difference in life and death. Child A has been in ICU twenty times in five years. If you can please donate a dog for this family, you would truly be a blessing in disguise for child A. The second family Child B suffers from severe allergic reactions to peanuts and would benefit from having a service animal that can alert to the dangers that are present to child name? Child B is constantly in and out of the hospital due to peanut based products left behind such as school cafeterias, or restaurants that have peanut based foods. A service animal would be able to detect the scent before the child can get near and alert so that the child will stay away. If you can please donate a dog for this family you would truly make a life changing experience for child B. Merry Christmas & thank you for considering donating to this worthy cause. Rick and Vicci DeArmond. P.S.Our dogs and pups in service or training are doing so well. They save lives, they make miracles possible.
