Hello, friends and happy Wednesday! We are working on some exciting new social media projects here at Cottonwood which have been motivated by Facebooks new algorithm changes. If you havent heard yet, Facebook will now essentially be charging businesses and organizations to reach people who have liked their pages. This was always an option in order to reach more people but now it is becoming standard. As a non-profit organization we dont have the capability to pay for each Facebook post in order to reach all the people who have expressed interest in getting our content by liking our page so we are moving forward and getting creative with our online presence through our twitter - twitter/CottonwoodArts - and an up and coming tumblr.
