Hello friends and neighbours!! So, first off, the Ponoka Stampede went awesome. There is a great feeling when you can surround yourself with such great professionals in our industry. The committee, the crew, the stock, the sound, the contestants, and the feeling of being involved with the Ponoka Stampede cannot be beat!! Thanks to all who make my job there, so easy! I had the opportunity to speak to over 77,800 people in the course of a week, and truly am thankful to be involved with the biggest CPRA rodeo in Canada! Next, we are all moved in and settled after the first performance of the "Hell or High Water" Calgary Stampede, number 101. When a guy looks at the pictures of the flood waters, and then sees how much was done to prepare in such little time, my mouth is left dry with awe. First performance of rodeo done and in the books. Join me today, across from city hall in Olympic Plaza as, I Host the main stage at Flour Rope Square! Some great entertainment lined up, not to mention free breakfast, in true stampede style, and then rodeo performance at one this afternoon! Lastly, special thanks to Cinch, and Jama Old West boots for the Stampede clothing! Once again, feels great to be surrounded by the best!
