Hello friends and those who are soon to be, We, at the Eric Okerblom Foundation, are excited to announce that we are back to using this Facebook page as an opportunity to maintain and strengthen the community that has grown around the life and memory of Eric. We are just as fired up as ever in our advocacy against distracted driving, so rest assured we will keep you up-to-date on our efforts and the efforts of the many other people that have dedicated themselves to this cause. The Eric Okerblom Memorial Clinic, staffed by our amazing volunteers, has become an endeavor we feel confident Eric would be proud of, and in that, we know we are on the right track. As the foundation evolves, so do our projects. After the amazing success of Eric’s Run earlier this year and the outpouring of enthusiasm of the community to, quite literally, get active about their support for the foundation, we feel that our celebration of Eric’s love for the outdoors should go well beyond once a year. We will be sharing news, articles, and interviews regarding outdoor activities and we’d love for you to be a part of it. Have questions about routes in the area? We’ll help you find them. Not sure which gear is best? We’ll find out. Want to contribute your knowledge? That would be great!
