Hello friends, family, and friends that are family. It is with - TopicsExpress

Hello friends, family, and friends that are family. It is with mixed emotions that we write to you today. After much prayer and discussion, we have decided not to return to the mission field on the island of Saipan and we will be returning to Illinois on July 14th of this year. The past two years have been a beautiful opportunity to share the gospel with people from all over the world. We now have those we can call brothers and sisters in Christ from the Philippines, Korea, Russia, Japan, Palau, the island of Chuuk, and many other places of God’s creation. The bonds we have made will never be broken. We have seen lives changed in such dramatic ways that the only explanation is that it was through God’s intercession. We have seen 30 people baptized in the waters just off the church, becoming new creatures in Christ Jesus. We have been humbled by many in the church family, who truly are servants of our one true God. On a personal level, the past two years have been a time a molding and shaping like no other. There has been growth, as well as trimming and pruning, in order for God to have us be more like he intends us to be. We are sincerely grateful for the opportunities that have come through partnering with so many wonderful people throughout our denomination and with General Baptist International Missions. It saddens us to say our time on Saipan is coming to a close. Even though our experiences and relationships that have bloomed over this time are no longer going to be the same, we know God has great things planned for our family. Starting October 1st of this year we will be teaming up with Skyline Community Church in Ofallon, IL.. Jason will be the pastor at their new campus in Bethalto, IL. It is obvious to us and the leadership of Skyline that God’s hand is in this and that He has wonderful things planned for the future of Skyline and specifically the area of Bethalto. We would like to ask you to continue to pray, as you have so graciously done for us these past two years, as we transition away from Saipan and back to life in Illinois. Also, please pray as we continue to advance the gospel in this new endeavor and partnership with Skyline in Behtalto. We are very excited about this new opportunity as we pray you are as well. We certainly want to say thank you to all of you who have been our prayer warriors during this time. Thank you to all who have supported us with your letters, your emails, your messages, and many times just kind words. Thank you to all of you who partnered with us financially in order for us to continue on the work here on Saipan. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Words can not fully express our gratitude for all of you and how we truly are “doing together what we cannot do alone!” Sincerely, Jason, Annie, Emilia, & Titus Warren
