Hello friends of Keystone Grange No. 2 the next Grange meeting will be Wednesday August 21 at 7:30 pm. The topic will be a very interesting one that pretains to all of us. Grange member Melody will be discussing the importance of honey bees in the ecosystem and how you can raise honey bees in your own backyard. The plight of the honey bee is one we all should be concerned about. Honey bees are an extremely important species not only to the farmer but to the every day person as well. This sensitive species is an impotant indicator to the condition of our environment and there numerous health benefits of local raw honey. Melody raises bees herself and has studied the current condition of the species. This is a meeting you do not want to miss. The Grange Hall is located at 192 West Main Street in Trappe.
