Hello from Atlanta, The drive today went smoothly. Our only stops were at the road side rest stops and at Costco to get fuel. It was a beautiful sunny day and it was so wonderful watching the temperature rise as we drove south. In North Caroline we started to see spring daffodils and the pink haze of buds on the trees. By the time we reached South Caroline we were seeing fruit trees in bloom and flowering almonds and forsythia. Then as we crossed into Georgia we started to see the young green of new leaves on the bushes and trees. It was like watching spring emerge in fast forward motion. Now all settled into our room at the Hampton in Buckhead Atlanta
