Hello from federal prison. My name is John Stellios Davis, reg# 21763-058. I have just turned 40 years old. I have been in prison now for over six years. This is my first time in prison or any kind of serious trouble. I have a home in Asheville, North Carolina., Where I grew up, and I plan on returning there when I am released. Asheville is located in the Blue Ridge mountains of Western North Carolina. It is a very beautiful area, and I miss it very much. Just Google Asheville, North Carolina and you will see what I mean. I worked in the hospitality business for many years before coming to prison. I held positions at the arenas finest resort hotels working as a bartender and bellman. I really enjoyed my work and it was a lot of fun to! since I have been here I have earned to, what one year technical certificates from East Arkansas community college, one in electronics, and the other in office technology. I have graduated Summa Cum Laude, with a 4.0 GPA., in both. I have acquired 66 college credits hours. So for I have recently been accepted into Adam, State University’s Distance Degree in business administration with an emphasis in legal studies. However, that is very expensive and I may end up just taking a one-year course in paralegal studies. I have done a lot of independent studies in such areas as the stock market and investing, advanced mathematics, music theory, the federal criminal justice system and the law. This being a low security federal prison, there are a lot of financial types here who were investors, stock traders and such on the outside. There are many musicians here to. these guys are more than happy to share their knowledge and expertise to various classes that they teach. I also have learn to play acoustic’s guitar, bass guitar, and some piano as well as sing. We are now allowed to buy MP3 players and download music. This is great for leisure as well as learning to play my favorite songs. Since I am no longer in school right now, I spent my afternoons and evenings on the recreation yard practicing and playing acoustics and bass guitar. Hey, somebody has to do it! after six years in prison, I am getting lonely. So if you are a female, age 21 to 50 and you would like to write me. I would love to hear from you. I am looking for correspondence, friendship, and maybe more. Please enclose a photo. I hope to hear from you soon. John
