Hello girls, its that time again!!! I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are back in regular school routines. Hopefully you have had enough time to become adjusted because it it time for us to get back to business. Our first meeting of the school year will be on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the All Purpose Room at the Civic Center. Come hungry because we will be having pizza as a kick off to our new school year. This is the Bring a Friend meeting. Someone you feel would be a good fit for the Juniorettes. Be sure the person you bring is willing to committ to our club and the services we provide. Use your good judgement. We will be filling out new Information Sheets so please come to the meeting prepared to give us the following information: Your Cell Your E-mail Moms/Dads Cell Moms/Dads E-mail I have already received requests from the Autism Walk, JES Trunk or Treat, and Simpson Fall Carnival for our services for the month of October. I am certain that we will be hearing from the Juniors as well with regards to the Trick or Trot. So, we are off and running. We will discuss these at our meeting. Now, for the hard part. It is with a heavy heart that I tell you this, but this will be my last meeting as the Juniorette Chair. Diana will be stepping down as well. As our children have grown so have our responsibilities and we dont want the Juniorettes to suffer for it. I have been with you girls for 4 years now and you have touched my heart in ways that you will never know. I have laughed with you, and cried with you, and I am confident that you will do the same with your new leader. Her name is Brandee Harwell and she is a member of the Junior Womens Club. She has a daughter who is joining this year and has volunteered to take my place. She is a friend of mine and I have met with her to fill her in on our projects and give her some insight into you girls and I know that she will love you just as much as I do. She has some great ideas for the Juniorettes and is eager to see it thrive so show her what the Juniorettes is all about and make me proud!!! Hope to see you on the 23rd.
