Hello guys! I have a XF300 and I love it. I use it for shooting narrative. The only things that I miss are shallower depth of field (I know it is overrated) and low-light sensitivity. I usually grab my 5D Mark III for that. But I want to simplify my gears and thinking about selling both 5D and XF and just get a C100 (Mark II). I use manual focus anyway but I suppose I could use the autofocus (?) option in C100 in a pinch. I can live with the shallow depth of field that the C100 provide. However, C100 does not do time lapse and does not have stabilization. And the price is $5,500. But the prospect of simplying my gears and have on-board audio (I hated whenever I had to use 5D with dual sound) makes it appealing to me. What do you guys think of replacing a 5D, XF300, and separate audio recorder with just a C100? I am not in a hurry to do this - just wondering. Also, if I am to do this (I will need a decision in 6 months or so), the sooner I can sell the 5D and XF300, the better. By the way my XF300 has 600+ hours but got serviced recently by Canon and got a clean bill of health. It looks and works perfectly. If anyone is interested, please contact me privately. I am in the US. Sorry if this is against the rules of the forum. If so, I will take this part out.
