Hello guys I was offered a place at Lund University for a masters degree as of the beginning of the next academic year (Master Programme in Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology). I would therefore like to have an idea of how much it would cost me for just living Lund, since I am EU student and therefore will not need to pay tution fees According to the lund uni. website they estimated this to be SEK 7800 per month (866 € per month), including: Food SEK 2 300 Accommodation SEK 3 200-4 800 Course literature SEK 400-1 000 Other: clothing, telephone, leisure, SEK 1 500 Can you please confirm whether in your opinion these figures are indeed accurate ? Is it possible to find even cheaper ccomodations and/or food? Do I really need to buy literature for every course? How much do you usually spend for calling people? How much do you spend if you go out? how much is a beer :P? Sorry just want to get an idea of whether coming to Lund is really an option for me or not. Thank you in advance!
