Hello ladies, ive been chatting with a few of you this week and many of you have told me about your high levels of anxiety. That churning, gut wrenching feeling in your tummy is commonly known as anxiety... Anxiety happens when we focus too much into the future with our thoughts. It is very common and can become extremely overwhelming. Having a tool kit to know how to recognise and deal with anxiety. You may be thinking, I cant keep doing this, Ive got too much to do and now this feeling is overwhelming me and stopping me with fear... Why me ? How can I make this stop, I hate this churning uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. Be conscious every day of (selecting and giving power to your thoughts) then you are less likely to be so overwhelmed. Be strict with yourself and follow up with action because without action you may continue to feel this way and it may get worse. Worrying about the future will not change it, it will only make things seem worse... Some tasks can be handled quickly, maybe get up half an hour early to sort something important because some days we just get caught up in our own heads... One little thing may just tip you over the edge if we dont take action... Conquering your anxiety takes a lot of practice and you will feel better when everything is back in prospective... Expect curveballs in life because the only constant real is change.. 1. Writing a to do list daily and deal with the priorities on the list, you know they wont go away unless you do. until you deal with them. 2. Put in into prospective... Will this affect my life in 5 years? 3. Feeling overwhelmed will lead to proscrastination of all the important things you need to get done. 4. work in manageable chunks of time like 45 minute blocks. 5.. Take a break for 15 minutes 6. Turn off facebook and email notifcations so you are not distracted 7. Reward yourself with small treats and stop beating yourself up! 8. Deal with the big scary things first so they dont take up your head space all day. Breathe deeply and take time out for you without guilt! Always Lee x
