Hello movers, My name is Eric Klauss I grew up practicing gymnastics in El Paso Tx. At the bright age of 15 I began coaching gymnastics I loved everything about it, and knew I wanted to be a gymnastics coach the rest of my life!! At 18 I left my home town and moved to Lexington Kentucky to study coaching at a bigger and better gym. I learned a ton and worked under some amazing people. After a couple years, I moved back closer to home and begin building a boy gymnastics program in New Mexico. I was burnt out and had grown to hate the sport I loved so much. Feeling a little lost, something was missing, so I stopped coaching and became a student again. I worked my way back into decent enough shape to score a scholarship at a small junior college for cheerleading. Being a student and an athlete again kept me busy and didnt allow be to work or coach. I finished up my cheerleading career and was more lost then before! I found a server position and moved back in with my parents. Feeling out of shape and looking for something new, I stumbled into a crossfit gym. One day after practice the owner was practicing some basic gymnastics and needed a spot on a front walkover ( I still remember her looking at me like this little guy could never lift or spot me) I assisted her in preforming the skill and gave her a few pointers, which helped her achieve the skill on her own! She was so impressed she asked if I could help with the warm up since gymnastics was the skill work of the day. I still remember thinking this could be my shot at coach gymnastics again, without coaching gymnastics! I rekindled my passion, its now been about about 3 years since that faithful day. I now own my own bodyweight personal training studio where I love waking up every day helping and learning movement in my very own movement research lab! Its great having a group full of like minded individuals all moving towards the same goal. I leave you with with a small clip of an after hours bent arm strength session.
