Hello my Facebook family. Please see below, this is a letter that I just sent over to my 3C Angels: My name is Perry Damone, I am 57 years old and before January 18th, 2013 I functioned as a normal, healthy male. On January 18th, 2013 my life changed, I was diagnosed with Acute T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma and at the same time also dealing with catastrophic personal issues in regards to my marriage, so to say the least, 2013 began on a very challenging foot for me. On this date also began a 7 month trek into trying to save my life and that process began with Scottsdale Healthcare and the nurses and doctors that roam the halls of 3C, the Oncology floor at the hospital. I have thought long and hard on how many ways there are to say thank you to 3C, and I am still trying to find the right words to express my deepest gratitude for helping to save my life. The last seven months changed my life, strengthened my faith with my heavenly “Father” and I also discovered how many incredible people love me through prayer. I would also like to add, and please take this next comment coming from a sane man with both feet solidly planted on the ground, but I am one of those incredibly lucky human beings that has actually seen and experienced two “Angels” back in 1991 on location while working on air for local FM station 99.9KEZ FM. Fast forward to 2013 and I have now experienced the “Angels” of 3C; their wings are massive and comforting: Rhiannon H. (My first “Angel”) Sheryl P. (My first NA Angel) Trishia C. Nicole C. Marina D. Samantha M. (Overnight Angel) Dawn M. Jennifer A. Kylee A. Sandra B. Teresa B. Griselda B. Ashley B. Nicole B. Nichole B. Jennifer B. Kelly C. Sadie C. Rachael C. Trishia C. Nicole C. Marina D. Heather D. Cassie F. Alicia F. Debbie G. Norma G. (Overnight Angel) Crystle G. Michael H. (Vegetarian Angel) Melissa H. Jennie H. (Pizza Angel) Kelly H. Ashley H. Two more “Angels” to thank, the “Angels” that have also blessed me with encouragement and vision, Papa and Mama Angels, Carol Guarnieri and Donald Day! Before signing off, what I learned back in 1991 was, when in presence of “Angels” when asked to describe them the word awesome, massive and comforting always comes up. When you read the names above, all will give you the same comfort that I experienced not only back in 1991 but in 2013.
