Hello my friends I havent been here much lately but its such a place of familiarity and an invisible thread that keeps us connected with all we know and love. As you all know, our lives have been turned upside down lately. We are doing ok . Our room isnt wheelchair accessible which challenges us daily but we have a roof which we no longer have on Nebraska rd!! Our belongings are gone but I can still hold my husband as he is very much alive. As I write this Im having my first cry since a blizzard and a kerosene heater conspired to take everything from us tha doesnt really matter in the greater scheme of things. What does matter is that we have each other, 2 wonderful families who raise us so high we have to look down to see we are safe and friends who are stepping forward to keep us smiling and buoyed by the overwhelming goodness that is the human spirit. Please know that we are okay. This is just a glitch in the road that is ahead . This ends nothing.our fight goes on. My goal then---and now is a cure for my husband . In the meantime you ALL keep us strong, smiling and full of hope. Thank you for everything you have done. Please, as for assistance we are inundated with clothes, toiletries even offers of furniture! Although we are astonished and amazed
