Hello my friends... I know we all give and give and we all did - TopicsExpress

Hello my friends... I know we all give and give and we all did just give again.... but I have discovered a project that seems to be overlooked and could use some real giving support right now... this is a bike build, a gift from one disabled Veteran to another... PakRat Customs up in Killeen Texas is building a trike for a wounded warrior... and is in the midst of the build, has had parts promised and some given but is in dire need of more parts and funds to complete the project. I know all of you have such big hearts as evidenced whenever one of our own is in need... I cant think of anyone more deserving than one of our own Veterans. Could you please all dig into your pockets a little. Give a dollar or five or ten or whatever you can to help this project keep rolling? And could you please share this... It all adds up and is such a deserving project. *********** This is the email my friend Laura Benson had received and shared: To: LAURA MAE BENSON Hello my friend, this is a follow up email on the latest news on the Wounded Warrior Project Disabled Vet bike build and giveaway from Pakrat Customs . We still require a lot of parts to help finish it. 1 Major component needed is a Trike rear end for a Harley touring frame. So if anyone out there knows where one can be located or knows a company that would donate it with wheels it would be a great help. The frame is on its way from what I have been told, and the drive line as well. The motor is almost ready to start up for a test.. The fuel tank is being taken care of by a great friend of mine in AZ. The person that is going to receive the bike is a combat wounded Air Force Master Sgt. He and his Commander are the only 2 to survive an attack on the gunship he was on. He is an avid rider and is very pleased he will have the backing of America to help him ride again. So yes, thats right, once again I am begging for parts and money to help finish this bike for him and make both of our dreams come true. I ask not for myself however for HIM. Sincerely Sgt. James Whitaker US Army Ret. p.s. Well the new Hi flow oil pump for the bike build has arrived. Yes I paid for it out of my pocket and I dont mind that at all. It is nice to see some progress happening with Chris bike. ********** youcaring/help-a-neighbor/pakrat-customs-wwp-bike-build/80042 ********** Anyway, I rarely ask directly for anyone to give but as it turns out, some of the parts promised are not arriving and so they are desperately needing some help... and what could be more deserving than helping any disabled Veterans fulfill their dreams. Please go to this page and please do what you can to help in any way.... lets help get this done!! Thank you so much!! .... C.
