Hello, neighbors and shoppers! You may have noticed our Customer - TopicsExpress

Hello, neighbors and shoppers! You may have noticed our Customer Comments board on your way out of the store. Were taking a moment now to respond to some of the questions and suggestions weve received recently. We strive to make your experience as comfortable, colorful, rewarding and fulfilling as possible and your comments written here and in person are what make this possible. So please, keep them coming! So without further ado… There are some things we carry that everyone simply loves. We work hard to ensure we have what you want, when you want it. If there is something you want that we dont carry, we want to know! We can order just about anything you want (as long as we have access to it!). And if you REALLY love it, dont forget that that there is a 10% discount when you purchase a whole case. For instance, if you love Kombucha Gingerade (12 to a case) as much as we do, we especially encourage stocking up when we have them. These tend to fly off the shelf, and this way youll have it whenever your heart desired. Ill address some other product specific requests further down. Ask your friendly Whole Foods Market team members for help determine case sizes and requesting items anytime! We know that in the late afternoon and evening, the selection of baked goods can be more limited than wed like. We work to ensure weve got enough for everyone, and that everything on the shelf is baked fresh for your enjoyment. Whenever you have that craving for something sweet and delicious, dont be shy! Call us, and well set aside it aside for you! By the way, have you seen those cupcakes? Beautiful! In our produce department youll occasionally discover some staple fruits and veggies are missing. Drat! That wild caught Coho Salmon you picked up would have been perfect with lemon... but where IS the lemon?? We buy our produce based on quality and availability, much like yourself! If we cannot find a grower or vendor with quality produce, well skip it until we can. Our high quality standards simply wont allow us to stock sad, wilted, and pale green celery. And in some cases, maybe we COULD find highly pestisized or outrageously expensive product, but were not into that either. We know this can be really frustrating. In moments like these, talk to us! Wed love to help you take this opportunity to try something new instead! No organic grapes? Try a Lychee! No Apples? Give a pear a bite! Cant find Mint? Get crazy and buy some Thyme! Go wild, try something new. You might even like it better, but if not, we will refund anything (anything!) you dont like. And now to address a few item-specific inquiries weve received: • Almond Paste – Nestled in our spice isle amongst baking sodas, cans of condensed milk, and a variety of memory-inducing spices, youll find almond paste just waiting for you and your recipe. Are you making a soft and golden sugar cookie? How about an aromatic almond cream coffee cake? Oh, I bet its actually going to be an almond tart with fresh sliced nectarines to celebrate summer. Whichever you decide (maybe its all 3!) this almond paste will provide exactly what you need for that exquisite dessert. • Orange Mango Juice – Fortune favors the bold!...flavors of our 365 Orange Mango juice. We noticed that these, and the R.W. Knudsen Orange Mango juices, tend to sell out quickly on the weekends. When you let us know, we took action! Were beefing up our ordering on this for the weekends so that you can enjoy this refreshing juice all summer long. • Terra Thai Basil Curry chips – Alas, these chips have been discontinued from our shelves. Occasionally an item will expire before all of it can sell, and when this happens week after week well stop bringing that product in (we really aim to waste as little as possible). Such is the case of Terras Thai Basil chips; they werent moving fast enough to keep fresh and in high quality, so we opted to forgo carrying them. Bummer! However we really want you to have something you like, so if you see a chip you might like and arent quite sold on, well open em up for you to try right on the spot. We want you satisfied and delighted such that when we cant get one item, well find you another to really love. • Silk Soy Milk: Very Vanilla – Great news! We carry this product in four packs on the top shelf with our other nut milks. The individual sizes are perfect for lunch boxes, picnics, and a few bowls of cereal. • Teff Flour – So what is Teff? Teff is a grain about the size of a poppy seed. Predominately used in Ethiopia, it is a gluten-free grain thats rich in protein, calcium, fiber, and iron making it a great source of nutrition for anyone. Its been absent from our store due to a low request volume, but thats all changed. After several requests on our customer comment board were bringing it back! Starting Monday 8/11 you should be able to find Teff Flour among the many other flours we carry in our baking section. Bake on, you smile-generating bakers! (You can use it for non-baking recipes, too!) • Coconut Water with Pulp – We gotten a number of requests for a coconut water that still has its pulp in it. We in fact carry just that! Sold by C20, you can find it on our shelves among the other coconut waters, usually. The item has been out of stock from our distributer for a while and we are as of yet unsure of when it will become available again. In the interim we want to let you know about two things in produce that may work for you. First, we often have bottles of seriously fresh (like, that day, fresh) coconut water over in produce that usually has some bits of pulp floating around in it. We make these in-house and if you dont see any out just ask a team member if they could whip one up for you! Second, during the summer were making holes in ripe coconuts and sticking a straw right into the thing. We add a lemon on top for fun and taste, all for $3.49/ea! Stop by produce today and explore our fresh coconut options. • 365 OG Berry preserves and 365 Linguine – It looks like we were running out of our 365 Berry Preserves, so we bummed up our orders (yay!). Thanks for letting us know, and you can look forward to having those much more consistently moving forward. Go crazy on those PB&Js, and try adding some sliced banana. Yummers! The 365 linguine is a little different. We have plenty of the regular linguine, but the whole wheat version is out of stock from our distributer. We dont have an ETA for the whole wheat versions arrival yet so feel free to call us or ask us about it while youre here. And finally, thank you! Thanks for your feedback, your generosity, your kindness, your business, your smiles and stories. Without this, Whole Foods Market wouldnt be the store or company is it. Thank you for choosing Whole Foods Market, Callowhill, and we hope to see you soon!
