Hello, people. Our server just got a boost from a lot of people signing up and uploading videos, and things are getting slow. THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE WILL SHUT DOWN. This also doesnt mean any kind of information, be it accounts, videos or something else, will get deleted. Also, I just received a message of someone telling me I CLOSED MY YT ACCOUNT FOR YOU, HOW CAN YOU LET US DOWN???? YOU SUCK and something like that. Let me explain something for all the people present in here, for new and old users: We have NEVER, EVER said anything to motivate our users to delete their YouTube account. In fact, we have even tried reasoning with some users some months ago, and we even told them to not do it. If you deleted your YouTube account, you did that out of your own free will. We are not responsible for that. But I do admit that when a famous user on YouTube came to the website and asked me if the servers could handle a huge amount of people, because he would motivate his subscribers to come to the website, I said yes. Because thats what the owner told me and some users a few months ago, when the website was getting a few users. Anyway, in all cases, we have never mentioned anything about deleting their accounts. If someone told you to do this, be angry at that guy, not at us. Thats everything that needed to be said for now, well try to control the current situation. For now, everything I suggest you is to back up your videos when the service comes back online. Again, we are not shutting down, but if youre feeling bad about our service, you can always take your videos and go to other good places, like DailyMotion or Vimeo.
