Hello people!!! Why was David called a man after Gods heart even after he coveted and took Bethsheba, who was the wife of Uriah. He even went ahead to have Uriah killed by sending him to the war front. After all these, God still called him a man after his heart. IF you read 2nd Samuel in the Bible, you will find out that David tried covering his sins when he found out that Bethsheba was pregnant by telling Uriah to go home and meet his wife(make love to her), so that it would be assumed that the unborn child would be Uriahs. Uriah refused leaving the war zone and going to enjoy at home when others were doing their jobs, he hid and slept at the palace. King David even had to make him drunk the second time so he could go home but Uriah still did not go home. After David realized his tactics was not going to work, he sent Uriah to the battle front. Now my questions- WHY DID GOD CALL DAVID A MAN AFTER HIS HEART EVEN AFTER DAVIDS SIN? WHY DID URIAH NOT GO HOME EVEN WHEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN FUN TO GO WATCH SOME TELEVISION AND ENJOY HIS WIFE? WHY DID BETHSHEBA JUST FALL FOR DAVID LIKE THAT? DOES ANYONE HAVE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS?? PLEASE LETS DISCUSS AND I WOULD TRY TO GIVE MY OWN VIEW AT 7PM TODAY.
