Hello, please consider this metaphor as a very useful permission slip. Our highest joy is an anchor, which we can use to keep us focused. The chain is all of our practices and attachments. Throwing the anchor by doing the thing that excites us the most stretches out the chain of related ideas so that we can see all things are relevant to our excitement and practice of it. This also gives one the ability to throw their anchor in a direction and follow the chain of events in a similar way such as planning our goals in steps, as well as it allows one to really define the chain which will best suit their anchor.
