Hello readers, fans and friends. I have a lot to tell you and it - TopicsExpress

Hello readers, fans and friends. I have a lot to tell you and it is all the best ever. First, let me explain the new Facebook cover: “Lightning Strikes the Blues” is what it says and it says this because it is now the full name of the title formerly known as just “Lightning Strike.” It wasn’t just enough to change the title and call it done. I’ve learned that novels will let the author know when it’s done and not the other way around. That is also why I have changed the name of the series from “Forces of Nature” to “Elemental Jazz.” Those who have read the book will easily understand the new title. The name of Alison’s home is often referred to as the Blues and when her home is under attack she uses her affinity with electricity to create an amazing lightning strike. As for why the new series name of Elemental Jazz? This might be easy for some to have spot, but the series is set in a facsimile of our world’s 1920s. Radio is queen with TV still just a crazy dream, trains and automobiles are the only way to travel in style and the era’s music is just as wild and exciting as jazz. I also think that the title reflects the series’s humorous and fun style that defines it. “But KR,” you say. “I don’t like jazz.” Well, have some lightning and I think you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. The story is still the same as ever for those of you have read it, so no fear. Now you just have a cool edition of a story that hopefully will find its way into many readers’ lives. You’re part of the exclusive Jazz club now so be proud. There’s also a new blog in development that will be the home for Elemental Jazz news and other original writing. In the upcoming weeks there will also be exclusive chapters of Lightning Strike from the point of views of Ren and Edwin. You’ll get to see the meaning behind many events that happen in the background of the book. I’ve wanted to do this for quite some time and the best news is that this content will be completely free. Lightning Strikes the Blues is currently available on Kindle, Nook, iBooks and Kobo for $4.99 and all editions are DRM-free. I like to say thank you all for giving the courage and opportunity to share my stories with the world. I want you all to know that fans mean everything to me and your ideas, suggestions and content will always be listened to and appreciated. So, keep imagining and start creating, guys. I look forward to the future that we all will have together — KR. Mitchell, Elemental Jazz.
