Hello sisters. I hope youre enjoying your weekend so far. Im loving the cooler weather and being able to have my windows open without burning up. Im listening to the crickets right now in fact. Well, the crickets and whatever that other odd sounding critter is... Please take a moment to seek Gods presence before continuing. Do you ever just need to hear something positive? The world knocks you down, maybe your boss or a rude stranger or even a friend says something that knocks you down a few notches and makes you feel like a small piece of nothing? Consider this: Matthew 13:44 (NIV) says: 44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Jesus loved using parables to get points across, so Im going to take it a step further. Sticking with this same parable, lets say God is a man and the world is a field and Jesus is all he had. Its really not far off to imagine this because God actually did find us in this world and sacrifice the only Son He had for us. But wait. Where are we in the context of this parable? Aha. We would be a treasure. I dont care what the world has told you today, let God remind you who you are and Whos you are. You are a treasure and you are His beloved! It is my prayer that each of you know how truly special you are to God. Throw that in the enemys face the next time he tries to talk smack. Prayer: Father God, thank You for reminding me who I am! I dont get it because I am so unworthy of all of the amazing blessings You give me but You love me relentlessly and endlessly. I praise You and thank You for Your amazing love! I pray You will show each lady reading this the reality of that same love. Remind us all who we are! In Christ I pray, Amen.
