Hello there! Huge day today for one of our team...little J as she has been renamed, is no longer our little J. ITS HER BIRTHDAY AND ITS A BIG ONE!!!! Happy Birthday lovely Jenna - well see you later for lunch (thank you for requesting that I make that cake, the one that takes longer than most others I make!....). Were off to one of those places that is in my top five of travel destinations this morning for our soup. BRAZIL. Itll be our Brazilian black bean soup. Beans have been soaking, a zillion different zingy ingredients have been prepped and some gorgeous spices will be going in too. Itll be served as usual with our homemade granary bread. Specials will include our Portobello mushroom with goats cheese ‘burger’ - our garlic oven-baked Portobello mushroom with our garlic tomato sauce, our caramelised red onions, goats cheese, beef tomato on a roll & green leaves served with our carrot, ginger, lime & coriander coleslaw, side salad, our toasted seeds and our dressing. Cakes will include brownies, lemon drizzle muffins, caramelised pear and almond cake, something very chocolately that J has requested I make (def wont be ready for 10 but will be on the counter sometime after that) and more. Have a wonderful Thursday. This is especially for our birthday girl - if you ever hear this group being played on the iPod, its incredibly likely that shes responsible!
