Hello there Tigers from the UK. My name is Andy Young, cricket co-ordinator at Austerlands Cricket Club, based near Manchester in the UK. Austerlands as a club has a proud tradition of offering young overseas players the opportunity to travel to the UK during the UK summer, representing our club, and aiding their cricket development as part of our scholarship scheme. Former players of the club include current internationals Junaid Khan (PAK), Alviro Petersen (SA), as well as hosts of players who have gone on to achieve great things, including Greg Campbell (AUS), Andrew Jones (AUS), Pat Patterson (WI) Brian Lara (WI) and many more. We currently have a vacancy for the Overseas Amateur role for the 2014 season (Apr-Sep) , and I would like to hear about any of your club playing members who you feel could benefit from this opportunity. To compete at our level, we would be looking for a player of a high standard, with the ability and potential to develop further. Ideally, players who have played state junior representative cricket would be ideal. As a club we have strong links with Lancashire CCC, and have a great family atmosphere, in which we are sure the player will thrive. If you feel you have any players who would be interested in this fantastic opportunity, please let me know. Kind regards, Andy Young Austerlands CC
